Hello everyone!
Normally, you’d see a novel chapter posted here today, however that is not the case this week.
First things first, thank you all so much for reading October Sun, November Seas the last three months straight. I hope you’ve been enjoying reading it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it. I’m really proud of a lot of the work for this version of the story, even though I see ways to make it even better. These weekly deadlines are a great way to hold myself accountable and to actually write this story, which I hope becomes the first draft of a novel one day.
However, such a demanding schedule, in addition to the normal posts I make on here is quite taxing. I have some structure work I want to do on the outline for the second half of the story to make it as excellent as possible. Therefore, I will be taking a short mid-story break. Think of this as an intermission.
No new chapter this week or next. We will return with regularly scheduled chapters going live here on June 6th, and I fully intend to carry that through until its completion. As a little bonus, this will make this story end at exactly 26 weeks, so pretty much exactly half a year.
I apologize for any and all disappointment this may cause, but rest assured that I will come back with a second half of the story that’s just as entertaining as the first. In the meantime, normal posts will continue as scheduled on Wednesdays.
Thank you again for reading and sticking around this long!
