Vers la Lumière (Credit: Philippe Charles)

A friend said that I love hard.
It’s true.
I’m a firm believer that it’s better to care than not.
Ambiguity sucks.
Apathy is even worse.

I will always leap from the cliff.
Arms spread and waiting to fly.
I hit the rocks more often than not.
It hurts like hell.
But the idea of staying is inconceivable.
I will drag myself back to the top of the cliff,
And fling myself into the air once more.
Because when I do catch a draft and fly,
Damn if the view isn’t fantastic,
And the feeling is beyond compare.

My friend said that I love hard,
And that despite the pain it brings,
It’s admirable that I keep at it.
I can go the distance,
And there ain’t no bell that’ll stop me.

There is no rule that says you cannot love that which you do not know.
Why should I need to know someone to love them?
